An inkwell made of brass engraved and inlaid with silver, inspired by the Mamluk era during the reign of Sultan Qalawun. It consists of a body, a lid, and a lock.

The Body:
The body is made up of 6 circles: one with winged birds, another with leaf motifs and cactus flowers, surrounded by geometric motifs, with a balcony in the center.

The Lid:
The lid is adorned with a band of Arabic script, and in the center, there are three circles bearing the Sultan’s titles. Above, there are leaf motifs of cacti and roses, with winged birds, culminating in the seal of Sultan Qalawun, with the inscription: “His Glory and Victory.” Inside the lid, there is a sunbeam surrounded by peaceful winged birds, with geometric motifs dominating the lid. There are also two branches of wheat, symbolizing peace.

Interior of the Body:
The body has two openings, decorated with motifs, birds, and geometric motifs.

The Bottom:
The bottom is adorned with a swirling star, containing leaf motifs and winged birds.
